Patterned Surfaces is a process developed and manufactured exclusively by R. D. Wing Co., Inc., Kirkland, WA (toll free 1-877-988-8400). Patterned Surfaces are durable, low maintenance paneling systems which can be created from almost any design. We work from patterns and designs developed from wallpaper, pattern books, carpet, fabrics, or even your own imagination. Once we have the pattern design, we relieve the surface of the substrate to best represent that design. We can produce patterns into virtually any non-metallic material. With our software, programming, and processing techniques, we have the ability to create almost any pattern replicated from wallpaper, carpet, fabrics, linoleum, pressure laminate, pattern books, digital creations, and so on, into the surface of a substrate. Ideal for vertical applications, Patterned Surfaces provides you with a surface that is either patterned or textured, that has both tactile and visual enhancement. We have the ability to make very small panels or an entire wall or corridor. In the case of plastics and Corian®, we can thermoform the Patterned Surfaces after the pattern is created in the surface to wrap around columns or corners. Focusing on Corian®, its translucency creates a spectacular effect when wall panels are backlit, exposing the pattern. Backlighting Patterned Surfaces in Corian® creates an interesting effect when lit and unlit panels are used alternately.
